DEPARTMENT POSITION TITLE HOURS DESCRIPTION
CENTER FOR SPECIALTY CARE Practice Manager FT Reporting to the Director of Operations will provide the day to day oversight and management for patient care in the Center.  Implements organizationally approved business plan reflecting strategies, objectives, timetables, measures and expected outcomes.  Provide daily supervision of Center’s staff.  Bachelors’ degree in a related field.  Business or Healthcare Administration preferred.  3 years practice management experience in a hospital based medical specialty practice.  1-2 years supervisory experience required.  Current CPR certified 
CENTRAL STERILE Supervisor FT Supervises the day to day operations of the Central Sterile processing Departments on all shifts.  Responsible for the Decontamination, Set Assembly/Preparation and Sterilization of all medical equipment, surgical instrumentation and operating room case carts.  High school graduate and graduate of an approved Central Sterile Program.  Minimum three years in Central Sterile and/or Operating Room.  Previous supervisor skills preferred or Lead tech.
ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES Environmental Service Asst. FT High school diploma or equivalent.  Prior housekeeping experience in a healthcare facility is preferred.
HEALTH INFORMATION SERVICES Director FT Manage the daily operations of the HIS Department and the Clinical Data Management Program  inclusive of budget and staff.  Direct and oversee departmental processes to assure compliance with applicable legal/regulatory/JACHO requirements as well as to hospital policies.  Evaluate, recommend and implement changes to facilitate effectiveness in the record keeping process.  Will serve as the hospital Privacy Officer and will be a leader in the ongoing implementation of EMR.  Demonstrated progressive supervisor/management experience in a HIS department required.  Credentials include RHIA and RHIT.   Meditech and EMR experience strongly preferred.
HEALTH INFORMATION SERVICES Lead Coder FT Apply the appropriate diagnostic and procedural codes to assigned inpatient, outpatient, and surgical day care and observation records for data collection, reporting and reimbursement purposes.  Coordinate workflow and validate coding accuracy of coding office staff/vendors.  High school graduate and completion of a coding certificate program.  3-4 years’ experience in an acute care hospital.  RHIA, RHIT, CCS, and CCS-P certification status preferred.
HEALTH INFORMATION SERVICES Clinical Documentation Specialist PT Will work in collaboration with the Clinical Documentation Management Program team to ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation in the medical records.  Review inpatient medical records for identified payer populations on admission and throughout hospitalization.  RN, BSN preferred.  Current MA license.  Minimum of  5 years clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting.  Computer proficiency in Meditech, JATA Guide or similar software.  Coding experience knowledge of guidelines strongly preferred.
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY PACS Administrator FT Days with On-Call 24/7.  Responsible for the daily operations of the PACS and Powerscribe systems, associated Meditech interfaces and any other related hardware and software that support these systems.  Provides user support to the Radiology Department and the Radiologists for all of these applications.  Associates degree in Information Technology, Radiology or related field. Preferred.  Previous PACS and Powerscribe experienced required.  Meditech experience preferred and knowledge of interfaces required. 
INTERPRETER SERVICES Interpreter PER DIEM National Certification in Medical Interpretation, Part I or Part II strongly preferred.  2 years interpreter/translation work experience in a healthcare setting preferred.  Fluent in English, Spanish and Vietnamese languages.
LABORATORY Pathology Assistant Per Diem Days.  Assist pathologist in performing gross examination and description of surgical specimens.  Bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Science or qualified as a Pathologist Assistant.  Minimum of 2 years of prior experience required.  Meditech experience preferred
LABORATORY MT/MLT FT/PT Evenings.  Minimum of two years hospital clinical lab experience required. Nationally recognized certification, ASCP as a Medical Lab Technician or NCA as a Clinical Laboratory Technician.
RADIOLOGY Ultrasound Technologist PT/PER DIEM Part time, evenings.  Must be a graduate of an accredited program in Sonography.  ARDMS required.  RVT preferred. MA license.  3-5 years experience
RADIOLOGY Cat Scan Technologist PT/PER DIEM Friday and Saturday night shift, 11pm-7:30am.  Graduate of an accredited Radiologic program and MA license required.  Must have advanced CT certification from ARRT.  Minimum of one year’s experience. 
RADIOLOGY EKG Tech
PER DIEM High school diploma or equivalent.  Successful completion of a training program in EKG/Cardiology procedures.  Experience in Holter and Stress Testing required.  Minimum of one year of experience.
NURSING DEPARTMENT
(BOTH EIGHT AND TWELVE HOUR SHIFTS AVAILABLE)
IN ADDITION TO THE POSITIONS LISTED BELOW, THERE ARE OFTEN PER DIEM OPPORTUNITIES IN EACH NURSING DEPARTMENT:

EMERGENCY RN FT/PT Full and Part time evenings.. PALS, ACLS and excellent critical care thinking skills required.  ED experience required.  MA license.  BSN preferred.
EMERGENCY Unit Secretary PT Part time, days/evenings with weekends and holidays.  Meditech experience preferred. 
EMERGENCY  Nursing Assistant  PT Part time, days/nights with weekends and holidays.  BLS required.  Acute care experience preferred.
ENDOSCOPY  Nurse Manager
 FT Identify goals to be achieved to improve the quality of patient care and to promote staff development.  BSN required.  5 years Endoscopy experience.  Previous supervisory experience preferred.  Proficiency in Word and Excel. MA license.
ENDOSCOPY Endoscopy Technician FT High school diploma or equivalent.  3-5 years’ experience in a hospital.  Equipment reprocessing, medical terminology and knowledge of  Meditech preferred.
ICU RN PER DIEM Three years ICU experience and BSN preferred.  MA license and ACLS required.
NURSING SUPPORT Transport Aide PT 11am-7pm.  High School diploma or equivalent.  Previous transport aide experience preferred. 
OPERATING ROOM  Surgical Technician  FT Day position available for an experienced surgical technician .  Four 9 hour  or three 12 hour shifts available.  .  On –call during the week and weekends.  Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited surgical technology program. 
OPERATING ROOM RN FT Day position for an experienced OR nurse.  MA license.  BSN preferred.
OPERATING ROOM Orderly FT Days.  Assists with transporting of patients to and from the OR and moving patients on and off the operating table.  Cleans and assembles the OR after procedures are completed and uses aseptic techniques in the cleaning of all equipment of the OR and the Anesthesia rooms.  High school diploma or equivalent.
SURGICAL SERVICES Director FT Plans, directs, coordinates and evaluates the overall clinical nursing practice and administrative activities, including fiscal, material and human resource management.  Assess, plans, implements and evaluates the delivery of patient care for the Operating Room, PACU, Endoscopy and CSR.  Develops, implements and evaluates standards of care/practice according to AORN, ASPN and SGNA professional associations.  Ensures that care is delivered to each patient in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, ANA Standards of Clinical Nursing Practice.  BSN required, MSN preferred.  MA RN license. Minimum of 3-5 years experience as a first-line manager/director.
