DEPARTMENT POSITION TITLE HOURS DESCRIPTION
CENTER FOR ORTHOPAEDIC CARE Patient Services Coord. FT/PER DIEM Will serve as primary point of contact for patients and visitors in an outpatient unit.  Scheduling of patients, check-in, registration and verification of demographics.  Collects co-payments for processing.  High school diploma or equivalent.  Associates degree preferred.  Minimum of two years related work experience required working in a fast paced environment.  Must have excellent phone and customer service skills.
CENTER FOR ORTHOPAEDIC CARE Cast Technician/Medical Assistant  FT Performs a wide variety of patient care activities during patient visits and/or procedures.  Will also provide orthopaedic care in the cast room in applying, removing and assessing need for change of all type of immobilization devices.  High school diploma or equivalent.  Completion of program as Certified Medical Assistant preferred.  Minimum of two years experience as a Cast Technician preferred.
DEVELOPMENT Development Associate FT Reporting to the Executive Director of Development the position supports achievement of the organization's fund raising goals and is responsible to plan, coordinate and execute special events, maintain the fund development database and to perform confidential clerical and administrative duties relevant to the efficient operation of the Development and Volunteer Departments.  Maintains
the fundraising data base, financial tracking, reporting and forecasting.  Produces accurate and timely financial reports from information maintained within the development database.  Is responsible to meet with and solicit participation from individuals, corporations, organizations and hospital departments.  Serves as the liaison and primary contact for event participants handling all requests and inquires.  Cultivates and manages volunteers, vendors and supporters and partners with the Public Relations department to ensure effective and successful outreach to the Community.  Conducts
prospect research to support the major and corporate gift effort.  Will assist with the writing, production and distribution of fundraising publications, newsletters, brochures and event information.  Will require occasional evening and weekend assignments to support the Development Board.  Associates Degree required,
Bachelors Degree preferred.  Minimum of 2-3 years experience in an administrative support role with proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet development and data base management (Raisers Edge preferred).  Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills required. 
 DIETARY  Clinical Dietitian  PT Days.  Bachelor’s in Nutrition field or advanced degree in Nutrition with Bachelors in another field.  Current CDR registration.
ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES Environmental Services Assistant FT/Per Diem High school diploma or GED. Prior housekeeping experience in a healthcare facility is preferred.
 HUMAN RESOURCES Human Resources Coord.  FT Under the general supervision of the Vice President of Human Resources and the direct supervision of the Human Resources Manager, provide timely, accurate and proactive HR assistance to employees, managers and customers as the first point of contact.  Sufficient previous experience to demonstrate understanding of an accomplishment of required skills.  Minimum of one years experience working in a HR department.
PHARMACY Pharmacy Technician Per Diem Experience preparing a variety of sterile products as well as familiarity with the recent guidelines from the US Pharmacopeia is needed.  Prior hospital pharmacy experience is necessary.
LABORATORY MT/MLT FT/Per Diem Full time position available for a MT/MLT.  Minimum of two years hospital clinical lab experience required. Nationally recognized certification, ASCP as a Medical Lab Technician or NCA as a Clinical Laboratory Technician.
LABORATORY Phlebotomist Per Diem Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited phlebotomy training program .  Hospital  experience preferred.
MAINTENANCE Painter PT 20 hours per week. Days may vary as schedule requires.  Weekend  rotation.  Minimum of two years experience.
REHAB SERVICES Physical Therapist Per Diem Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a MA license.  At least one year of inpatient acute care experience is preferred. 
REHAB SERVICES  Secretary Per Diem Provides secretarial coverage for the outpatient rehab services department.  Scheduling of patients, check-in, registration , completes insurance certifications and referrals, prepare discharge charts  and performs billing functions.  High school diploma or GED.  Two or more years experience in a hospital/medical office setting. Current  CPR certification.
RADIOLOGY Director FT Under the direction of the Vice President of Clinical /Support Services, plans, directs, supervises and coordinates the activities of the Radiology (Diagnostic X-Ray, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, and Ultrasound), Cardiology and Neurology Departments.  Responsible for the coordination of patient flow, scheduling and support mechanisms.  Maintains a liaison with the medical staff in providing quality, cost effective, efficient services to all patients.  Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, current MA, ARRT.  Associates degree required, Bachelors Degree preferred.  Five of more years of experience including three years supervisory experience in all diagnostic imaging functions required.
RADIOLOGY Scheduler  FT Full time, days.  High school graduate.   Must have excellent computer, interpersonal and communication skills.  Previous experience preferred. 
RADIOLOGY Ultrasound Technologist PT Part time evenings, 6-11pm.  Must be a graduate of an accredited program in Sonography, registered or registry eligible in the fields of Abdomen,and Physics. MA license required.  Minimum of 1 year of experience.
RADIOLOGY CT Scan Tech Per Diem Responsible for performing computerized axial tomography procedures following established policies and procedures in a manner consistent with the patients’ physical and psychological needs.  Graduate of an accredited Radiologic program and MA license required.  Minimum of one year’s experience.
TELECOMMUNICATIONS Switchboard Operator Per Diem Per Diem availability evenings, including weekends.  Answer, assist and direct a high volume of calls for staff, physicians, patients and general information. Process calls, pages and initiate emergency procedures when needed.  Basic computer knowledge, excellent communication and customer service skills required.  High school diploma or equivalent required.  One to two years switchboard/busy multi-line phone system preferred.  Hospital experience preferred.

CASE MANAGEMENT Utilization and Appeals Specialist FT MA RN license. BSN required, Masters Degree in a health care related field or business preferred.  Case Management certification preferred.  Three to five years clinical experience in Case management in an acute care hospital.  Proficiency with Interqual.  Excellent communication, written and computer skills required.
CASE MANAGEMENT Case Resource Manager Per Diem Per Diem position for RN with Case Management experience.  Interqual criteria, discharge planning and utilization review background required. 
EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT RN FT/PT Full time/part time evenings and night shifts with weekend and holiday rotation. PALS, ACLS and excellent critical thinking skills are preferred.  ED experience and current MA license required. BSN preferred. 
ICU Unit Secretary  PT One evening and every other Saturday.  Candidate must have one year of experience in an acute care setting as a unit secretary.  Meditech experience preferred.
NURSING FLOAT RN Per Diem Per Diem positions available on medical/surgical floor for experienced RN. Candidate must have at least two years experience in an acute care setting. Current MA license. BSN preferred.

NURSING SUPPORT  Nursing Supervisor  PT Part Time position nights for an experienced Nursing Supervisor.  Meditech experience and BSN preferred.  BLS and ACLS required.
NURSING SUPPORT Clinical Educator FT Full time position available for a Clinical Educator.  This RN will assume the responsibilities of educator, consultant, researcher, facilitator and leader.  5 years medical/surgical experience.  BSN or higher preferred.  Current MA license, PALS, ACLS and excellent critical thinking skills are required.
OR RN FT Days, variable hours. Plus Call.  Minimum of  3 years OR experience and BSN preferred.  Current MA license required.
SURGICAL SERVICES Lead Surgical Physician Assistant  FT Responsible for program implementation, coordination and scheduling of the BID-Milton surgical PA staff.  Will participate in the recruitment of other surgical PA’s for program growth and will support the partnership between the Hospital and the Dept. of Surgery.  Will be a clinical provider and team member in the treatment and management of the surgical patients in the pre, peri and post-operative setting primarily covering patients of BID-Milton physicians.  Responsible for  initial assessment and admission of patients; to assist in the evaluation and preparation of patients for surgery, to act as first/second assistant in the OR and to care for patients following surgery and help prepare patients for discharge.  BA/BS degree and a graduate of a Physician Assistant program.  Current licensure in good standing by the Mass Board of Physicians Assistants and must apply and be approved for credentialing.  Current ACLS & ATLS.
