Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton Appoints Oksana Posnik, MD, as Chief of Pathology

Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton has appointed Oksana Posnik, M.D. as Chief of Pathology.

Dr. Posnik has been a member of BID-Milton’s pathology department since 2009 and previously held the position of Associate Pathologist. She received her medical degree from Russia’s Medical Academy. After completing her doctorate, Dr. Posnik went on to complete her residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at Boston Medical Center. She also completed two separate fellowships, in cytology and cytopathology research, both at Boston Medical Center.

“During her time at BID-Milton, Dr. Posnik has earned the respect of many of her colleagues,” said Interim CEO, Doris Sinkevich. “She has a strong appreciation and advanced understanding of pathology quality and has a broad range of academic and clinical experience in surgical and cytology cases for tumor diagnosis and hematology.”

Dr. Posnik is Board Certified in anatomic pathology and clinical pathology and is a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society and American Society for Clinical Pathology.
