Huma Farid, MD, an obstetrician/gynecologist on staff at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton, has joined the practice of Alice Shin, MD, in Milton and is now accepting new patients.
Dr. Farid provides a full range of women’s healthcare services, from family planning and prenatal care to menopause counseling. Her clinical interests include contraception, pregnancy, abnormal uterine bleeding, heavy menstrual bleeding and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.
Like Dr. Shin, Dr. Farid will provide prenatal care in Milton while delivering babies at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She will also perform gynecologic surgeries at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton.
Dr. Farid is a graduate of Harvard University Medical School. She completed her internship and residency programs at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Farid is a member of Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and on the faculty of Harvard Medical School.
