Interventional Pulmonology

Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton (BID-Milton) provides interventional pulmonology services through Mihir S. Parikh, MD. Dr. Parikh is a fellowship-trained interventional pulmonologist on staff at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center who sees patients every Monday afternoon at BID-Milton’s Center for Specialty Care.

Dr. Parikh, board-certified in Critical Care, Pulmonary Medicine and Internal Medicine, brings highly specialized healthcare services into a community hospital setting.

Dr. Parikh’s clinical interests include:

  • Lung cancer diagnosis and staging
  • Lung nodules
  • Malignant and benign airway obstructions
  • Tracheal disorders
  • Pleural effusions

Dr. Parikh Is a member of the Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and a member of the American Thoracic Society. He is also an Instructor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Parikh works closely with Richard Whyte, MD, a Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center thoracic surgeon, who also sees patients in BID-Milton’s Center for Specialty Care.
